Allan L. Eganhouse, 88 of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue. Allan was born June 9th, 1919 in Bellevue, son of the late Albert and Helena (Hager) Eganhouse. He married Marcelene Franzen on April 29th, 1953 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Bellevue. She Survives. Allan was a farmer. He was proud to have served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He was a member of the Bellevue Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. Dancing, fishing, airplanes and John Deere Tractors were among his favorite interests. Besides his loving wife, Marcy of Bellevue, survivors include five sons, Dean (Karen) Eganhouse, Fulton, Il., Duane (Mary Jo) Eganhouse, Davenport, Mark (Jane) Eganhouse, Bellevue, Roger (Susan) Eganhouse, DeWitt and Darryl (Kay) Eganhouse, Magnolia, AR; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three brothers, Eldon (Betty) Eganhouse, Maquoketa, Omer (Betty) Eganhouse, Clinton and Rod Eganhouse, Davenport; two sisters, Jane Lord, Clinton and Imogene (Harold) Styer, Dubuque; many other relatives and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Gary Eganhouse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 AM Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. The Rev. Fr. Stephen Meyer will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery where full Military Honors will be performed by the Bellevue American Legion Post 273.
