Ann Goetz, 45, of Bellevue, died, Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 5, at St. John Lutheran Church, St. Donatus. Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at Lemke Funeral Home in Bellevue and again, Thursday at church from 9:30 until service time. Ann was born on September 18, 1962, in Bellevue, daughter of Marvin and Marlene (Buchman) Goetz. She worked for Rockwell Collins for over 20 years. Ann Loved to golf, hike, canoe, and spend time with her special dogs. More importantly, she would use her gift of helps to serve family and friends. Ann would make strangers into acquaintances, acquaintances into friends and friends who would last a lifetime. Her unique style of serving, which included humor, was all her own and she used every opportunity to impact the lives of those around her. Surviving are her parents, Marvin and Marlene Goetz, of Bellevue; a brother, Craig (Roxanne) Goetz, of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Lori (Robert) Traeger, of Solon, Iowa; a nephew, Brendan Gorman, of West Des Moines; and niece, Andrea Traeger, of Solon. She was preceded in death by Harold and Nellie Goetz, and George Beeler. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Jackson County Humane Society or the Bellevue Ambulance Service.
