Armella M. Kilburg

Armella M. Kilburg, 94, of Delmar, formerly of Bellevue, passed away on February 6th, 2007, at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue. Armella was born February 25th, 1912 in Springbrook, Iowa, daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Monner) Yoerger. She married Norbert on November 17th, 1931 in Springbrook, Iowa. He preceded her in death November 17th, 1971. Armella reupholstered furniture, enjoyed talking about the quilts she made, and was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, in Bellevue. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include four children, Gerald A. (Helen) Kilburg, of Altus, OK, Merle N. (Marilyn) Kilburg, of Bellevue, Mary Ann (Burton) Ehlers, of Clinton, and Lorna K. (Clem) Specht, of Maquoketa, 12 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 4 step-great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, February 12th, 2007 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Bellevue. The Rev. Fr. Stephen Meyer will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 PM at Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Bellevue, and again on Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of procession to church.
