Bendina M. Petesch, 92, of Bellevue, died, Sunday, August 3, 2008, at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, at Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home and again, Thursday at the funeral home until procession to the Church. Bendina was born on July 4, 1916, in Bellevue, daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Schmidt) Tebbe. She married Gordon Petesch on June 3, 1941 in Springbrook. Bendina was an active woman who enjoyed staying busy. She was a homemaker and a farmers wife. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and spending time in the garden. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving is her Husband of 67 years, Gordon Petesch, of Bellevue; a son, Daniel Petesch, of Bellevue; a daughter, Mary (Kevin) Maher, of DeWitt; three grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon, and Benjamin Maher; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Brooke Maher; two sisters, Velma (Richard) Lampe, of Bellevue, and Madonna (Edward) Mueller, of Bellevue, and a brother, Lloyd Tebbe, of Bellevue. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Erma Sturm, Rita Kilburg, and Dula Hammond; a brother, Vincent Tebbe.
