Billie Jean Lineberry

Billie Jean BJ Lineberry, 63 of Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday, January 16, 2009 departed on her next adventure from Odyssey Healthcare Center with her sister by her side. Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25 at Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home, Bellevue, Iowa officiated by Pastor Paul Gammelin Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held in Las Vegas February 8, 2009, please contact the family for details. Billie Jean was born on October 17, 1945 in Maquoketa, Iowa, daughter of William and Verna Mae (Felderman) Lineberry. She had been a hair dresser for over 44 years and owned and operated the Fashion Hair Center in Las Vegas for the past 15 years. She was an extremely talented and gifted artist. In her spare time she enjoyed movies, shopping, painting, cooking, crafting and talking about her grandchildren. Her kindness and spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends and clients. Surviving are her mother, Verna Mae, of Las Vegas; son, David (Bridget) Harms, of Alden, IA; three grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew, and Sami Jo Harms; a brother, Dennis (Barbara) Lineberry, of Castle Rock, Colorado; a sister, Sandra (Larry) Lineberry-Sims, of Las Vegas, and six special nieces and nephews, Jay (Nicole), Cole (Amy), Grace, and Sara Lineberry, Kyle Sims and Trisha (Sawyer)Stewart.
