Bonita Roe

Bonita Roe, 69, of Maquoketa, formerly Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, May 09, 2006 at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa. Bonita was born September 30th, 1936, in Bellevue, daughter of the late Robert & Irene (Kieffer) Roe. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Maquoketa. Bonita was employed at Dac Inc also in Maquoketa. She enjoyed helping with chores in the kitchen and with the laundry at the nursing home. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Nancy Roe of Bellevue; four nieces; Kim Galloway of Maquoketa, Kathy Clemen of Dubuque, Kay Simon of Epworth and Tami Michel of Bellevue; and one aunt Bertha Taylor of Maquoketa. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents and one brother Joseph Roe of Bellevue. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 13th, 2006, at the Kingery Funeral Home in Bellevue. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the Memorial Service all at the funeral home in Bellevue. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery in Bellevue. Kingery Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Bellevue is in charge of the arrangements.
