Carol Jean Feller (Welsch)

Carol Jean Feller, 59, of Bellevue, peacefully passed away Thursday morning, May 5, 2016, in Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday morning, May 9, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Carol will be held from 2:00 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again on Monday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Carol was born on August 15, 1956 in Bellevue, Iowa, daughter of Gregory and LaVonne (Gonner) Welsch. She married Larry Feller on July 2, 1977 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Carol worked for Welsch Oil for many years. She also enjoyed working for Herrig Auction Service. Carol loved spending time with family. Holidays were most special to her, especially Christmas. Carol enjoyed shopping. The light of Carol's life were her grandchildren. Those left to honor her memory include her husband of 38 years, Larry, of Bellevue; four children, Stacy (Chad) Sieverding, of Bellevue, Nick Feller, of Cedar Rapids, Josh (Ryan) Feller, of St. Donatus and Chad (Emily) Feller, of Bellevue; four grandchildren, Brady and Ashlyn Sieverding, Hailey and Ava Feller; and three sisters, Barb (Ken) Ernst, of DeWitt, Susan (Roger) Eganhouse, of DeWitt, and Lori (Ron) Thielen, of Bellevue. She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Melissa. The family would like to thank Mill Valley Care Center and Hospice of Jackson County for the special care and compassion given to Carol. Carol was an organ donor recipient.
