Catherine Johnson

Kathryn Johnson, 90, of Clinton, died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at her home in Clinton. Katheryn was born February 20, 1918 to John and Rosine Wall of Sabula, Iowa. She married Harry Johnson in 1938, he passed away in 1993. She graduated from Sabula High School in 1935. She attended Iowa State Teachers College, in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She became a teacher for Jackson County Rural Schools. She taught for many years She was later employed at A.C. Nielsen Clearing House from 1964 until retirement in 1984. Katheryn and her husband retired in Saint Paul Minnesota. Surviving is her daughter, Mary Johnson; three sisters, Carmen Conrad, Ruby Schubert and Delores Solberg; a brother, James Richard Wall; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother. Memorial Services for Katheryn will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded, Lemke Funeral Home, South Chapel, is handling arrangements. Inurnment will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
