Christopher Michael Shady

Christopher Michael Shady, 37, of Maquoketa, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012. A visitation for Chris will be held from 4:00 7:00 p.m. Wednesday Evening, November 28, 2012, at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue. A Private Family Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bellevue. Chris was born on July 30, 1975 in Millington, Tennessee, son of Dennis Shady and Sue (Lampe) Crouch. Chris grew up in Bellevue; he attended Marquette and graduated from Bellevue High School in 1994. He was self employed as a contractor in the Jackson County area. Chris had a great sense of humor, was extremely easygoing and was always there for others. He always kept active fishing, hunting, bowling or playing softball. Chris was a great father and always made time for his kids. Those left to honor his memory include his fiancé, Kelly Wilmot, of Maquoketa; his children, Trevor, Madyson, Wyatt and Brayden; his mother, Susan (Warren) Crouch, of Bellevue; father, Dennis (Maureen) Shady, of Norfolk, Virginia; two sisters, Jessica (Mark) Ulrich, of Cedar Rapids, and Carolyn Crouch, of Marion, Iowa; and four half sisters, Jamie Shady, Joleena Lewis, Jesse Shady and Sabrina Shady.
