Clarence A. Carr, 72, of Clinton passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Lemke Funeral Home-South, 2610 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. He was born on October 14, 1935 in Clinton, the son of Edra L. and Leola (Scott) Carr. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Korean War. He worked for the North Western Railroad in the Car Barns in Clinton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting, and playing with his dog, Rusty. Surviving are sisters, Katherine Carr of Clinton, Leola Hoagland and Sharon Fiegel both of Illinois, and Anna Mae Carr and Nancy Joe Carr both of Iowa; brothers, Gene Carr of Clinton, John (Carol) Carr of Camanche, Robert (Barb) Kelly of Hazelton, Iowa, and Ernest Carr of Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
