Dale C. Manders, 66, of Dubuque, formerly of Bellevue, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013, at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning, September 26, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Dale will be held from 4:00 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Dale Manders was born on July 30, 1947 in Bellevue, son of Matthew and Marie (Arensdorf) Manders. Dale was a quiet man with a great sense of humor. He farmed his entire life. Dale owned a farm in rural Bellevue and loved every minute of it. Farming was extremely important to him. He will be deeply missed. Those left to honor his memory include his three brothers, Melvin (Serena), of Bellevue Glenn, of Springfield, Missouri and Lorin, of Bellevue; two sisters, Darlene (Donald) Reuter, of Maquoketa and Carol Hampton, of Praire Du Chien; brother in-law, Lloyd Kilburg and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Sr. Algean Manders and Monica Kilburg. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sunset Park Place and Hospice of Dubuque.
