Daniel Putman, 58, of Eugene, Ore., formerly of Bellevue, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, of cancer. A celebration of life will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at Hachmann Funeral Home, Bellevue. He was born on Jan. 16, 1953, in Bellevue, son of Richard and Loreen (Cooper) Putman. He graduated from the Bellevue Community High School. He married Pauline Kay Moeller on June 16, 1990, in Dubuque. A steelworker, he worked as a steel quality control supervisor for 13 years and a foreman for 13 years. He worked at Namasco, in Peosta, for 37 years until his retirement in April 2010. Surviving are his wife, Pauline; and children, Brandon Putman, of Jacksonville, N.C., and Chantel Putman, of Eugene.
