David J. 'Wahoo' Daniels

David J. Wahoo Daniels, 49, of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at The Finley Hospital in Dubuque. Wahoo was born July 18th, 1957, in Bellevue, son of Janet (Gerald) Schroeder and the late Glenn Daniels who passed away in 1958. Wahoo was a truck driver. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a die hard Harley Rider, who loved playing cards, especially the Dumb Game. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family & friends especially his nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Janet and Gerald Schroeder of Bellevue, survivors include, five brothers, Glenn Daniels, Jeff (Lisa) Schroeder, James Schroeder, Dennis Bud (Jeanette) Schroeder and Steve (Carol) Schroeder all of Bellevue and two sisters, Ann Schroeder of Lincoln, NE and Cindy (Brenden) Eggers of Bellevue; 17 nieces and nephews; one great nephew and one great niece. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, June 9th, 2007 at St. Donatus Catholic Church in St. Donatus. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bellevue. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their sincere thanks to the respective staffs at The Finley Hospital especially the nurses on fifth floor and to Dubuque Internal Medicine especially Dr. Mark Hermann.
