Debra Jean Burnett, 53, of Andrew, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012, at her Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012, at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellevue. Interment will be in the Andrew Township Cemetery. Visitation for Debra will be held from 3:00 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again on Friday morning after 9:30 a.m. at the church. Debra was born on July 16, 1959 in Bellevue, Iowa, daughter of Remigius and LaVonne Ruff. She married James Burnett on September 2, 1978 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue. Debra was employed with Ensign for a couple of years; She also Waitressed at Point Pleasant Restaurant, was the manager of the liquor store in Bellevue, and later worked at Mi T-M Corporation. Debra spent her spare time gardening and socializing with her many friends. She loved to take trips with her husband over the road. She was a long time Steelers football fan and was well liked by many. Debra had a special love for her seven grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, James, of Andrew; four children, Amanda (Chris) Burnett, Ricky Burnett, Adam (Alicia) Burnett, and Robert Burnett; seven grandchildren, Erik, Faith, Korbin, Cole, Savannah, Blake, and Lilly; mother LaVonne, of Bellevue; and two brothers Jeffery and Steve Ruff, both of Bellevue.
