Debra Jeanne (Beck) Campbell 57, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday morning, February 16, 2011 at St. Lukes Hospital Extended Care Unit in Cedar Rapids, after a courageous battle with cancer. A private family Burial will be held at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery in Bellevue, Iowa at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Hachmann Funeral home and Cremation Service. Debra was born May 8, 1953 at Bellevue Memorial Hospital, the daughter of Gerald R. and Mary L. (Thies) Beck. She attended school at St. Joseph elementary and was a 1971 graduate of Bellevue Community High School in Bellevue. Debra enjoyed reading and listening to music in her spare time. She had a love for all kinds of jewelry. Debra had worked in Denver Colorado, Dubuque, and Cedar Rapids. Those left to honor her memory include her mother Mary L. Beck of Bellevue; three brothers, Gregory Beck, of Milwaukee Wisconsin, Michael (Jody) Beck and children Cody and Nicole, of Hanover Park Illinois, and Brian (Charlotte) Beck, of Ankeny, Iowa and their children Christopher and Natalie; along with aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Gerald R. Beck; grandparents, Adam and Helen (Schriefer) Beck, and Michael and Marcella (Clasen) Thies.
