Eileen Rhue Walton-Leslie, 87, of Clinton, passed away Friday, June 08, 2007, at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St, Marys Catholic Church. Father Thomas Hennen will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held Monday, June 11, 2007, from 4-8PM at Lemke Funeral Homes-South, 2600 Lincolnway. A vigil service will begin at 4 PM at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Tony, Aaron, Megan, Leslie, and Nick Williams, Jacki Pranger, and Ben Carbajal. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Eileen was born December 11, 1919 in Clinton, to Leonard and Rhue (Lee) Walton. She was raised on Beaver Island before moving to town to attend St. Marys School, she graduated in 1938. Eileen married Frank Doc Leslie on October 4, 1941 at St. Marys Church. She was employed at B & D Tool and Lumber, the Garment Company, Wire Cloth, and retired from AC Nielsen in 1983. She also was a homemaker. Eileen was an active member of Prince of Peace Parish. She is survived by her three daughters; Nancy Bielema of Fulton; and Terri and Kris Leslie both of Clinton; one son; John (Pam) Leslie of Clinton; one son-in-law; Jerry Kagemann of Clinton; five grandchildren; Jennifer Calvin; Tony, Aaron, and Megan Leslie; and Steven Kagemann; one sister; Mary Alice Bennis of Clinton. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank whom passed away in 1981; one daughter; Patti Kagemann; and one brother Jackie Walton.
