Eldred L. Deichelbohrer, 82 of Bellevue, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 6 at Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home, officiated by Father Stephen Meyer. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 until service time at the funeral home. Eldred was born on June 8, 1926 in Bellevue, son of Leo and Catherine (Pleiser) Deichelbohrer. Eldred served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He farmed through the 60s and 70s. He was an easy going, kind and caring man who always put others ahead of himself. Eldred was a hard worker and enjoyed farming and being outdoors. He also had a love for animals and a special bond with dogs. Eldred was a great man and will be truly missed. Surviving is his nephew, Gary L. (Diane) Dee, of San Diego, California, and close friends, Cindy (Dave) Broders and Deb (Virgil) Brothers, both of Bellevue.
