Esther A. (Ties) Deppe, 89, of Bellevue, passed away peacefully at Mill Valley Care Center on July 18, 2017, while dreaming of being reunited with her husband, Ves. He left three short months ago to save a special place for her in heaven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, July 24 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial will be held in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Esther will be from 2:00 -5:00 pm Sunday evening at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again on Monday morning from 9:00-10:00 am also at the funeral home.Esther was born on July 15, 1928, in Springbrook, the daughter of Peter & Clara (Helmle) Ties. She married Sylvester (Ves) Deppe on October 23, 1950, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Springbrook, Ia.Esther was proud to be a mother of four children and homemaker for several years. She worked at Ensign Coil, Big D Grocery, and Deppes Convenience Store. She also worked as a housekeeper for several Bellevue residents over the years.Esthers faith was very important to her. She was an active member of St. Josephs Catholic Church. Visits from her family were always a highlight of her day.Esther will be greatly missed by her children, Gary (Shirley) Deppe, of DeWitt, Lorin (Shirley) Deppe, of Maquoketa, Loras (Barb) Deppe, of Bellevue, and Ruth (Randy) Felderman, of Huntsville, Alabama; nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren with two more to arrive later this year. She will also be remembered by her sister, Lillian Dondlinger, and brother, Lyle (Mary Ann) Ties.Esther was welcomed at the Pearly Gates by her husband, Ves, her parents, sister, Eunice Fier, and brother, Clarence Ties.The family would like to thank the staff at Mill Valley Care Center for the wonderful care they gave to Esther.
