Gary Eganhouse

Gary M. Eganhouse, 52, of Bellevue, IA, formerly of Loves Park, IL, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at the Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue. Memorial visitation will be held Sunday, September 2nd, from 3 -7pm at the Kingery ~ John C Lemke Funeral Home, Bellevue. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30am Monday, September 3rd, at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial and Military Graveside services will follow in St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery. Gary M. Eganhouse was born April 11, 1955, in Maquoketa, IA, the son of Allan and Marcelene (Franzen) Eganhouse. He graduated from Marquette High School. Gary served in the United States Army. He worked as a supervisor for Pepsi Cola in Rockford, IL. Gary enjoyed restoring cars, skiing, fishing, and was a NASCAR fan. From skiing on a glacier in France to skydiving in Wisconsin, Gary was a thrill seeker and lived life to the fullest. Gary is survived by his son Christopher L. (Jennifer) Forenz of Mesa, AZ; his parents Allan and Marcelene Eganhouse of Bellevue; his brothers Dean (Karen) Eganhouse of Fulton, IL, Duane (Mary Jo) Eganhouse of Davenport, IA, Mark (Jane) Eganhouse of Bellevue, IA, and Roger (Susan) Eganhouse of DeWitt, Darryl (Kay) Eganhouse of Magnolia, AR; he is also survived by special friends Robert and Lisa Gottfried of Freeport, IL, nieces, nephews, and three great nieces.
