Glenn Joseph Daniels

Glenn Joseph Daniels, 55, of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Manor Care Health Services, in Dubuque. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, July 14, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Glenn will be held from 12:00 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again on Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Glenn Daniels was born on January 11, 1959 in Bellevue, son of Gerald and Janet (Scholtes) Schroeder and the late Glenn Daniels who passed away in 1958. Glenn always loved tinkering with things and was a great mechanic. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Glenns family meant a lot to him and he enjoyed spending time with them. He especially cherished the moments playing darts with his son, John in league. Glenn had a great sense of humor and a passion for Harleys. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and trips to Savanna, for Mannys Pizza. Glenn will be deeply missed. Those left to honor his memory include his father, Gerald Schroeder of Bellevue; two children, John (Stacy Thommen) Daniels and Jennifer (Josh Smith) Daniels; three grandchildren, Miranda, Tristen and Mylee; four brothers, Jeff (Lisa) Schroeder, James (Laura Clevenger) Schroeder, Dennis Bud (Jeanette) Schroeder and Steve (Carol) Schroeder all of Bellevue; two sisters, Ann Schroeder of Lincoln, NE and Cindy (Doug Payne) Eggers of Bellevue; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; and brother, David Wahoo Daniels.
