Grace Helen Thompson, 103, of Fulton, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 09, 2007, at Harbor Crest Nursing Home in Fulton, Illinois. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 11:oo A.M. at First Presbyterian Church in Garden Plain, Illinois. Rev. Stanley Bomgarden will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007, from 4 7 P.M. at Lemke Funeral Home Lyons Chapel. 2304 N. 2nd Street Clinton, Iowa. Burial will be at Cotton Wood Cemetery in Morrison, Illinois. Grace was born on September 6, 1903 in Morrison, Illinois to Siebolt and Minnie (Rosenow) Arians. Grace Arians married Lee W. Thompson on October 21, 1933 in Morrison, Illinois. He preceded her in death. Before marriage, Grace worked at The National T Supermarket in Morrison for a number of years. Grace was active in the Farm Bureau, liked to garden and was a marvelous cook. Grace had a great deal of friends and never had a bad word to say about anybody. Graces greatest love was her nieces and nephews. Those left to honor her memory include three nieces; Lorraine J. Norman of Madison, WI; Joanne (John) Rohwer of Sterling, IL; and Larinda Eaton of Wetchester, PA; three nephews; Bob Arians of Morrison, IL; Arlyn Butch (Brenda) Arians of Peoria, IL; and James Weaver of Monticello, IA.
