Jason Thomas Veach was born to Jack and Joanne (Michels) Veach August 26, 1973 in, Dubuque, Iowa. He married his high school sweetheart, Casey Scheckel on July 24, 1999, in Bellevue. Jason was truly one-of-a-kind and one you would never forget. He enjoyed every minute he had with a positive attitude and relaxed free-spirited flow in life. Jason was always himself. He had a unique sense of humor, he made everyone laugh and laughed at everyones jokes. He never met a stranger and would talk for hours with people he barely knew. Jason was always doing something; he enjoyed his animals, working on tractors and doing anything outside. Jason loved his family more than anything and had no problem showing it. His kids were his life, and his world revolved around them. Jason was great husband and father, very much involved in his childrens activities, and coached many of their teams. He was loved and respected by so many, both young and old. Those left to honor his memory include his wife Casey Veach, of DeWitt; four children, Taylor, Tyson, Levi, and Emersyn, all at home; parents, Jack and Joanne Veach, of Bellevue; brothers, Jamie (Penny) Veach, of Peosta, John (Kim) Veach, of Dubuque, Justin (Abby) Veach, of Bellevue, and sister, Jodi (Ryan) Kilburg, of Bellevue; grandfather, Tom Michels; father and mother in-law, Tom and Pat Scheckel; and brothers in-law, Josh (Angie) Scheckel, and Jake (Ashley) Scheckel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
