Jessica M. Pitts

Jessica M. Pitts, 39, of Springbrook, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.  Funeral Service will be 4:00 pm, Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Springbrook.  Family will greet friends 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at church prior to services.  Private Family Burial will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Springbrook.

Local arrangements are entrusted at Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue.

Jessica was born January 7, 1985, the daughter of David and Sandra (Ties) Pitts.  She graduated from Bellevue Community High School in 2003.   Jessica enjoyed camping, playing cards, listening to music, her cats, Myra and Callie, and especially spending time with her nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her parents, Dave and Sandy Pitts; siblings, Stephanie (Chris) Regan and Craig (Rachel) Pitts; nieces, Taylin and Charlee Regan, Clara Pitts; nephews, Noah Pitts, and Landen Gottschalk; aunts and uncles, Mike (Betty) Pitts, Larry (Kate) Pitts, Jerry (Mari Jo) Pitts, Roger (Sharon) Pitts, Cheryl Peters, Marcia Ties, Dennis (Debbie) Ties; a great aunt, Carol Houston; and numerous cousins and close friends.

Jessica was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jim and Margaret Pitts; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Alice Ties; and an uncle, Mike Peters.

Memorial may be directed to Hospice of Jackson County or Hope Lodge in Iowa City in Jessica’s memory.
