John Melvin Tebbe

June 3, 2006 John M. Tebbe, 84 of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, June 03, 2006 at the Maquoketa Care Center. John was born October 21, 1921 in Bellevue, son of the late John and Mary (Helmle) Tebbe. He was a machinist at Clinton Engine and Adams Company before retiring in 1982. Survivors include two brothers, Alfred Tebbe, Springbrook, Sylvester Tebbe, Preston; four sisters, Rosella Sullivan, Bellevue, Regina Clasen, Springbrook, LaVita Budde, Preston, Rosemary Dondlinger, Bellevue, two sisters-in-law, Marie Tebbe, Springbrook, Lois Tebbe, Preston; many other relatives and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold Tebbe, Oliver Tebbe, Richard Tebbe and Elmer Tebbe; one sister, Armella Clasen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 6th, 2006 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Bellevue. The Rev. Fr. Stephen Meyer will celebrate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 5-7 PM at the Kingery Funeral Home in Bellevue. Kingery Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Bellevue is in charge of the arrangements.
