Julie Knake died unexpectedly in Bellevue IA on January 23, 2017 at the age of 61. Private family services will be held at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue. All family and friends are invited for a Celebration of Life Reception at Horizon Hall from 12:00 3:00pm, Saturday, January 28.Julie was born on May 18, 1955 in Bellevue, IA to Elmer and Marion Weis. She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1973. In 1976 Julie married Dennis Kloft and they welcomed a son Jason in 1979 and another son Ryan in 1983. Julie spent many years living in Maquoketa IA and working at Osterhaus Pharmacy. In 1991, she married Pat Knake and moved to Bellevue IA when she and Pat raised 4 teenagers in one house. Julie worked for Bonnie Bell Cosmetics and then ended her career years at Lujacks Northpark Auto Plaza where she was one of the top in sales. Julie enjoyed being a wife, mother, helping others through her career, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Julie will be remembered for her unconditional love and encouragement, her happiness while celebrating the Cubs victory in the World Series, and her fabulous pies. She was constantly thinking of others and always gave the most thoughtful gifts to her loved ones while forever searching for a great deal.Julie is survived by her husband, Pat Knake of Bellevue, IA); son Jay (Kristin) Kloft of Clay Center, KS; son Ryan (Bailey) Kloft of Bellevue, IA; stepdaughter Tara (Dave) Rossman of Dunlap IL; stepson Chet (Rhonda) Knake of Bellevue IA; grandchildren Tyler, Cole, Kylee, Luke, Brynn, Jase, Brooke, Kali and Kora; siblings Mark (Mack) Weis of East Dubuque IL; Gary Weis of Bellevue IA; Sue Corlis of Wake Forest, North Carolina; Sandy (Doug) Schroeder of Cedar Rapids, IA and many nieces and nephews. Julie is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Marion Weis and brother Bill Weis.
