Keith Alan Keil, 52, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. A Christian Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, June 3, 2013, at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellevue. Pastor Paul Gammelin will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation for Keith will be held from 4:00 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again Monday morning after 9:30 a.m. at the church. Keith was born on February 16, 1961 in Bellevue, Iowa, son of Norbert 'Dutch' and Ruth (Bottoms) Keil. Keith graduated from Bellevue Community High School in 1979. He was carefree and always happy. Keith was caring and always thought of others. His family was important to him, he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Keith was a Vikings fan through and through. He also enjoyed bowling. Keith was a great man and will be deeply missed. Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Ruth, of Bellevue; two sisters, Debra (Mark) Edwards, of Maquoketa and Diane (Jack) Carson, of Bellevue; four nieces and nephews, Dustin (Amanda) Edwards, Jayson (Jessica) Keil, Christine (Danny Oberoeckling) Edwards, and Breanna (Travis Cooper) Carson; and three great nieces, Layla Keil, Emma Keil and Avery Edwards. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Kent. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Keiths name.
