Lavonne Rose Roling, 53, of Bellevue passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 28th, 2007 in her home in Bellevue. Lavonne was born March 3rd, 1954 in Maquoketa, daughter of Orville and Rosemary (Kilburg) Roling. She was a 1972 graduate of Bellevue High School and also graduated from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids in 1977 with a bachelor in social working, with minors of sociology and theology. She worked various places as a social worker and most recently was employed with the Circle C Saloon in LaMotte. Baking, cooking, gardening, reading and crocheting were her hobbies. Her family and friends will remember her as a caring, loving and helpful person in every way. Besides her loving parents, Orville and Rosemary Roling, Bellevue her survivors include one brother, Lynn (Linda) Roling, Anamosa and three sisters, Faye Ann Roling, Bellevue, Nancy (Terry) Kieffer, Preston and Mary Jo Roling-Dannar, Cedar Rapids; nieces and nephews, Kim (Johnny) Johnson, Chad (Carrie) Richardson, Travis, Dakota and Amanda Kieffer; two great-nephews, Sean Micheal and Austin Chase Richardson. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 am Thursday, May 3rd, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. The Rev. Fr. Stephen Meyer will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home, Bellevue and again on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of procession from the funeral home.
