Mabel Eleanor Feltes

Mabel E. Feltes, 79, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, September 22nd, 2006 at Stonehill Care Center in Dubuque. Mabel was born April 7th, 1927, in Dyersville, daughter of the late Joseph & Christina Meyer. She married Dwaine Feltes on October 15th, 1950 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Dubuque. He survives. Mabel was a Medical Transcriptionist for Medical Associates. She loved cooking and bike riding. Most of all she loved her grandchildren. Besides her husband Dwain Feltes, survivors include, six children, John (Nancy) Feltes, Apple Valley, MN, Jim (Sharon) Feltes, Burnt Hills, NY, Joe (Julia) Feltes, Dubuque, Jane (David) Wills, Galena, IL, Jerry Feltes, Bellevue and Jay Feltes, Cedar Rapids; 13 grandchildren and one great grandson. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark and Ralph Meyer and one sister, Grace Brown. Private funeral services will be held at The Kingery Funeral Home in Bellevue. The Rev. Fr. Stephen Meyer will preside. Burial will be in the St. Josephs Cemetery, Bellevue. The Kingery Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
