Marian E Reeg

Marian E. Reeg, 88, of LaMotte, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue. Marian was born December 12th, 1918 in Lancaster, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Riniker) Adams. She married William A Reeg on August 1st, 1945 at the St. Clements Catholic Church in Lancaster. Bill preceded her in death on Wednesday, March 29th, 2006. Marian was a homemaker and special mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She took great pride to instill family values in her children, teaching them moms principles to live by and how to make due with what you have. She also spent much time teaching them; Roberts Rules of Order, euchre, baseball and things like sewing, baking, gardening and cooking. Survivors include seven children; Stan (Betty) Reeg, DeWitt, Bill (Diana) Reeg, Bellevue, Mike (Peg) Reeg and Don Reeg both of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jim (Kathy Kean) Reeg, Monument, Colorado, Judy (Ken) Lochner, Meldi Budde of Dubuque; 25 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas (Ruth) Adams, Platteville, Wisconsin, Richard (Janice) Adams, Dickeyville, Wisconsin, three sisters, Rosemary (Morris) Schultz, Stockton, Illinois, Dolores (Leonard) Hosch, Monticello, Cecelia (Charles) Breihan, Lancaster, Wisconsin; two sisters-in-law, Jean Adams, Lancaster, Wisconsin and Connie Adams, Stoughton, Wisconsin and one brother-in-law, Clem Wall of Lancaster, Wisconsin. Besides her parents, and her loving husband William she was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Alicia Lochner & Angela Budde; two great grandchildren, Shawn Michal Ernst and Deana Stoecken; six siblings, Robert Adams, Marjorie Hoffman, Mark Adams, Virginia Wall, Francis Adams and Kathleen Adams A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 16th, 2006 at St. Donatus Catholic Church in St. Donatus, with a tribute beginning at 10:15 am at the church. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in LaMotte. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 pm at the Kingery Funeral Home in Bellevue and again on Saturday from 9:15 10:15 at the church.
