Marjorie Emma Bramow, 90, of Clinton passed away Sunday at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Community Reformed Church, 747 N 12th St, Clinton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Lemke Funeral Home-South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Bryden, Harold Ready, Don Chamberlain, John Kerber, and Mike Meyers. Honorary pallbearers will be all her Study Connection Students, including; Nathaniel Fee, Adam Cook, Doug Harris, Will Hoppe, Kyle Johnson, Kory Hogen, Lance Smith, and Mitch Brewer. Marjorie was born on December 1, 1917 in West Union, Iowa to Clark and Lillie (Louth) Windhurst. She was a 1935 graduate of West Union High School. She Married Ralph Bramow on December 27, 1942 in West Union, IA. Marjorie was employed with Domestic Plumbing as a bookkeeper for 23 years. She was also worked in the real estate field working under Kay Vilmont. Marjorie spent many years being a study buddy with Study Connection. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and Animal Birth Control with Judy May, and was also a member of the Community Reformed Church. She was a member of the AMVETS Auxiliary, the Fulton Moose, and the Clinton County Republican Women. In addition to all her other interests she also enjoyed playing bridge. Marjorie truly cared for many animals over years but will truly be missed by her last two companions Daisy and Harley. Marjorie is survived by her four nieces, Barb (Don) Chamberlain of Manchester, IA, Kathleen (John) Kerber of Decorah, IA, Carrie Ann (Mike) Meyers, Genoa, IL, and Donna (Jim) Frost of Grasonville, MD, one nephew, Larry Kieg of Cedar Falls, IA, her special friends, Ed Bryden of Clinton, and Marcia Zaehringer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bramow in 1994, her parents, one brother, and two sisters. Memorials can be made to the Clinton Humane Society or Community Reformed Church.
