Mark B. Kettmann 94, of Bellevue, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at his home. In accordance with Marks wishes there will be no public services. Arrangements are being handled by Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue. Mark was born June 14, 1917, son of John and Elizabeth (Gerardy) Kettmann. He served the United States Army during WWII. Mark lived an adventurous life. He had many jobs in his lifetime, retiring from United Airlines at OHare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois. Through employment with United Airlines he had an opportunity to travel the world. He loved to share stories of his travels and everyone enjoyed hearing them. In his later years Mark enjoyed visiting the Dog Track with his nephew Steve. He will be deeply missed by all. Those left to honor his memory include his two sisters in-law, Rosemary Kettmann, of Bellevue and Leona Kettmann, of Dubuque; nieces and nephews, John (Marilyn) Kettmann, Jim (Nancy) Kettmann, Steve (Jackie) Kettmann, Russell (Dianne) Kettmann, Mike (Dina) Kettmann, Susie (Kent) Clasen and Joe (Carol) Kettmann, all of Bellevue, Milo Jr. (Mary) Kettmann, of East Dubuque and Geri (Jim) Pennekamp, of Dyersville. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Milo, John Jack and Milton; sister in-law, Gladys Kettmann; and nephew, Patrick Kettmann.
