Mark Matthew Kueter, 83, of Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of Springbrook passed away Friday morning, January 27, 2017 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque.A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, February 4 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Springbrook. Arrangements are being handled by Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue.Mark was born February 23, 1933 in Bellevue, Iowa, son of John Henry and Augusta (Eganhouse) Kueter. He married Glenna Gonner on April 16, 1955.Mark served the United States Navy from 1952-1954. Upon returning from the military he worked for John Deere, he later attended DeVry University for electronics. He then worked at K&K Electric for many years. Mark liked to stay busy and worked many other jobs through the years. Even after retirement, he couldnt sit still and most recently was employed by Securitas Security Company. He will be deeply missed. Those left to honor his memory, include his wife of 61 years, Glenna, of Dubuque; two daughters, Cindy (Dan Loney) Kueter, of Dubuque and Angela (Jeff) Carton, of Denver, Colorado; son Ted Kueter, of Bettendorf, Iowa; three grandchildren, Samantha Kueter, of Iowa City, Emily Kueter, of Bettendorf and Lexus Carton, of Denver, Colorado; sister, Joan (Russ) Schilling; brothers in-law, Merlin Gonner, Tom Crouch and James Cloos; sisters in-law, Judy Koelker, Betty Gonner and Karen Gonner; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mark is preceded in death by parents, brothers, Maurice, Hugo, Richard, John Henry, Cletus and James Kueter.
