Mark Charles St. Clair, 78, of Bellevue, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Mark has requested no public services.
Mark St. Clair was born July 21, 1946, the son of Charles and Madelyn Ursula (Miller) St. Clair. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1964, then attended and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa where he played Basketball. After college, Mark became a YMCA Director for many years in Muscatine, Peoria, Galesburg, and Ft. Dodge. He owned and operated his own custom wallpapering and painting business. He later worked 10 years for Gateway Vending in Clinton, Ia. Mark met the love of his life, Kathy Miller-Ronnfeldt and the two were married on July 31,1998. Mark loved watching sports and attending the grandchildren’s sporting events and keeping up with the local sports teams at home. He was an avid NASCAR collector and fan of Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed his “old folks” drive around town and taking mini adventures with his wife, Kathy. Mark was a kind and gentle man. He was very caring and loving and wonderful husband to his wife Kathy. Mark will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; and two step-daughters Michele (Michael) Forrest, Kristina Ronnfeldt; five children, Justin, Nathan, Bryan, Jenny St. Clair and Emily Stolk. 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a sister, Julie Pokorny; and sister in-law, Glenda Miller and brother in-law Reno Walker.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Connie Walker; and brothers in-law, Bill Pokorny and Marion “Junior” Miller
