Marlena K. Arensdorf

Marlena K. Arensdorf, 94, of Dubuque, formerly Springbrook, passed away April 21, 2006 at The Finley Hospital in Dubuque. Marlena was born May 29th, 1911, in Springbrook, daughter of the late Nicholas G. & Mary (Donlinger) Kilburg. She married Joseph Henry Arensdorf at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Springbrook. He preceded her in death September 17th, 1985. Survivors include three children, Norlan (Beverly) Arensdorf, Rockford, IL, Lila (Robert) Tigges, Dubuque and Robert (Patricia) Arensdorf also of Dubuque; nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; one brother, Walter (Eleanor) Kilburg, Bellevue and one sister-in-law, Luella Kilburg of Springbrook. Besides her husband Joseph and her parents she was preceded in death by seven brothers, John, Arthur, Lester, Elmer, Clarence, Ben, Melvin Kilburg and one sister, Leola Ambrosy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 25th, 2006 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Springbrook. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 pm at the Kingery Funeral Home in Bellevue and again on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of Mass at the church in Springbrook. Kingery Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Bellevue is in charge of the arrangements.
