Marvin W. Keil, 81, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 pm, Saturday, November 25 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial will be held in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Marvin will be from 10:00 - 12:00 pm Saturday Morning prior to Mass at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service, in Bellevue. Marvin was born on January 26, 1936 in Bellevue, Iowa, son of Clarence and Mabel (Koester) Keil. He married Eveleen Ries on July 14, 1962 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Marvin worked at Clinton Engines and Jackson Industries both in Maquoketa.Marvin was always easy going, laid back and loved to visit. He never complained, even in his last days with his battle with cancer.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, flowers and gardening. Marvin was a proud member of the Bellevue Fire Department for over 19 years. He will be deeply missed.Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 55 years, Eveleen Keil, of Bellevue; a daughter Lisa (Carl) Mormann, of Dyersville; a brother, Ronald Keil, of California; and his grand cat Onyic.He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Donna, Betty, and Dean.In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Marvins name.The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque, and doctor Engelman for their care and compassion shown to Marvin.Online condolences may be left for the family at www.hachmannfuneralhome.com
