Mary L. (Ehrler) Weyhgandt, 81, of 1102 State Street, Bellevue, passed away on July 9th, 2006 at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue. Mary was born December 25th, 1924, in Elizabeth Illinois, and was the daughter of Archie and Julia Ehrler. When Mary was seven, Julia died, and Archie married Edna Meffley Wand. She married Wayne G. Weyhgandt on February 14th, 1954, in Elizabeth Illinois at the Methodist church. Mary received her education in Elizabeth, Illinois. Mary was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Bellevue, and retired from the Savanna Army Depot in 1978. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in her yard. She also had a fondness for dogs of all breeds and especially Yorkshire Terriers. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and corresponding by e-mail with her family and friends. Mary will be deeply missed by her husband Wayne, and Daughters, Jayne (Fred) Schaeffer of Mt. Gretna, Pennsylvania, and Jean (Robert) Wand of Galena, Illinois, her family in Elizabeth Illinois and Rockford, Illinois, also by her many nieces and nephews, their families and her many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Edna, and her brothers; Harry, Marion, LaVerle (Bud) and Kenneth, and sisters; Betty and Leone. Funeral Services will be at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Bellevue at 1 P.M. on Tuesday July 11th, 2006. Pastor Paul Gammelin will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery in Bellevue. Visitation will be at the Kingery Funeral Home in Bellevue from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. on Monday, July 10th, 2006, and one hour prior to services at the church.
