Mina M. (Kloft) Theisen, 94, of Bellevue, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am, Friday, February 28, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bellevue. Visitation will also be Friday prior to Mass from 8:30 am – 10:00 am at Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Bellevue.
Mina was born, May 1, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Heuertz) Kloft. She married Gerald “Whitey” Theisen on September 25, 1952, he passed on March 19, 1986. Mina and Whitey owned and operated Theisen’s V & S Varity Store in Bellevue for many years. She volunteered at St. Joseph’s Grade School, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bellevue Senior Center, and Bellevue Heritage Days. Mina was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church active in Alter and Rosary Society. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her sons, John (Joan) Theisen, Steve (Karen) Theisen, Tim (Colleen) Theisen, Mark Theisen, and Michael “Crusher” Theisen; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one expecting; and 1 great-great grandchild; a sister, Nancy Rubel; brothers and sister in-law, Shirley Kloft, Marian Kloft, Ray (Doris) Theisen, Merlin (Helen) Theisen, Kenneth (Mary) Theisen, Marce Capesius, and Jean (Robert) Casel.
Mina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Scott; a great-grandson, Kolby; siblings, Wayne Kloft, Dorman Kloft, and Elaine (Richard) Weis; brothers in-law, John “Jack” Rubel and Ray Capesius.
A memorial fund has been established in Mina’s memory.
