Mona Pauline Niemann, 97, of Bellevue passed away Sunday morning, May 17, 2015 at Mill Valley Care Center, in Bellevue, surrounded by family. A funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 20 at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellevue. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation for Mona will be from 9:00 11:00am, Wednesday morning prior to the funeral service at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mona was born March 24, 1918 in Emeline, Iowa, the daughter of Merlin and Nora (Rannals) Clark. She married John Eganhouse and later Edward Niemann. Mona worked for 25 years at Younkers in Dubuque and Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, dancing and was a beautiful seamstress. Mona cherished her time with her family. Those left to honor her memory include her children: Connie Goepfert, Patricia (James) Eggers, Jeanne Eganhouse; grandchildren Tina, Todd, Tricia, Jordan, and Danielle: great grandchildren, Jennifer, Tristana, Terin, Max, Evelyn and Victoria; siblings, Leonard (Eleanor) Clark, Betty Deppe, Norma Jean (Glenn) Bormann; and brother in-law Harold Durkop. She was proceeded in death by her parents, daughter, Bonnie Eganhouse-Gilbert; grandchildren, Dawn, Michelle, and Jason Roling and Gene and Rachel Ann Gilbert; sister, Donna Durkop; brother, Denzil Clark; brother in-law, Don Deppe; and son in-law Lorin Goepfert.
