Pamela S. Meyer

Pamela S. Meyer, 65 of Bellevue, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at her home. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 27 at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bellevue. Visitation for Pam will be held 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening also at the funeral home. Pamela was born on November 8, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa, daughter of Marvin and Alta (Lampe) Kruse. She married William E. Meyer on September 11, 2004 in Bellevue. Pam was a supervisor at the post office in Dubuque for 29 years. She was sweet, giving, organized and strong willed. She was an active person who enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, playing cards, and traveling with her husband. She also enjoyed spending time with her dogs. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by all who knew her Surviving is her husband, William Meyer, retired from Chicago Fire Department, of Bellevue; two children, Thad (Emily) Lunceford, of New York, and Tait (Kristy) Lunceford, of Dubuque; two step-children, William Jr. (Amber) Meyer, of Chicago, and Kinberly (Brian) Tatu, of Hampshire, Illinois; ten grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Conner, Hannah, Madison, Mason, Kevin, Joseph, John, and Josh; and a brother, Jerry Joseph (Elaine) Kruse, of New Jersey. She is preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque for their care and compassion shown to Pam.
