Paula J. Mangler, 47, of Bellevue, passed away Friday morning, November 10, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, after a reoccurring battle with Cancer.A Christian Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 14 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Sabula. Visitation for Paula will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service, in Bellevue and again Tuesday morning after 9:30 at the church.Paula was born September 24, 1970, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the daughter of Gary and Nancy (Rokosh) Eye. Paula graduated from Maquoketa High School, Class of 1989. She married Lonnie Mangler Jr. on May 4, 1996, at Calvary Lutheran Church, in Sabula. Together they raised four children. Paula was a great person, she was always positive, encouraging, helpful and loving. She was a mother to all. Paula was a stay at home mom, while her children were young. Because of her love for children, she started working part time as a paraprofessional for the East Central School System. Years later the family moved to Bellevue and she began working at Bellevue Community Schools. Paulas family was always her priority. She was always there for her husband and kids. Through the years she coached her kids in softball, volleyball and basketball. Paula always kept busy, volunteering at church or any other organization that needed help. She will be deeply missed.Those left to honor her memory include her Husband Lonnie; children Abigail (Curtis) Koch, of Sabula, Colby Mangler, of Davenport, Drew and Paige Mangler, both at home in Bellevue; Her parents, Gary and Nancy Eye; and three sisters, Sheryl (Ron) Paulson, Jodi (Alex Rampolla) McCoy and Michelle (Pat) Bronson.
