Richard E. Dick Till, 65, of Springbrook, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013, at his home. A Military Rites Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, December 18, at Hachmann Funeral Home in Bellevue. Visitation for Dick will be held from 2:00 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again Wednesday morning after 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Dick was born on February 24, 1948 in Bellevue, Iowa, son of Elmer and Marjorie (Sommers) Till. Dick graduated from Andrew High School in 1966. He served the United Sates Army from 1966 1969. He worked at John Deere Dubuque Works for 30 years, retiring in 2001. After retirement he worked at Cloos & Sons in Springbrook. Dick was care free, always happy and carried a great attitude right up to the end. He was extremely social and had a great sense of humor. Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Marjorie, of Maquoketa; two children, Bryan Till and Chauny Rubel both of Bellevue; four grandchildren, Brandy, Breanna, Alec and Alyssa; three brothers, Dennis (Kathy), of Andrew, Gary, of Andrew and Marty, of Bellevue; and five sisters, Janet (Lloyd) Keil, of Bellevue, Patricia Bousselot, of Lincoln, Nebraska, Brenda (Ken) Formanek, Des Moines, Kristi (Dennis) Flenker, of Maquoketa and Amy (Kevin) Daily, of Boston, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his father.
