Rosetta C. Kilburg, 91, of Bellevue, died, Monday, August 04, 2008, at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue, Iowa. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2008 at Ss. Peter & Paul, Catholic Church, Springbrook. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2008, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Springbrook. Rosetta was born on March 10, 1917, in Springbrook, daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Monner) Sprank. She married Julian Kilburg on January 31, 1939, Springbrook, Iowa. Rosetta was an easy going person who liked to be active. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and gardening. She lived for her family and spending time with them. Rosettas grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her 7 children, Anneva (Richard) Kieffer, Dubuque, Jim (Jan) Kilburg, Springbrook, Larry Kilburg, Bellevue, Virgil (Jeannie) Kilburg, Bellevue, Nancy (Paul) Kilburg, Bellevue, Dale (Karen) Kilburg, Bellevue, and Janet (Kevin) Sieverding, Springbrook; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Florence Manderscheid, Maquoketa; and step sister, Naomi Schmidt She was preceded in death by her parents; Step mother, Elizabeth, husband Julian, three children in infancy, her three brothers, Ed, Elmer, and Leo Sprank, and three sisters, Irene Barth, and Almie Manderscheid, and Lorraine Williams.
