Velma M. Lampe, 91, of Bellevue, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Velma will be held from 4:00 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again Tuesday morning after 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Velma was born on January 29, 1924 in Springbrook, daughter of Nicholas & Mary (Schmidt) Tebbe. She married Richard Lampe on October 9, 1945 in Springbrook. Velma was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished her time spent with family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she was known as the Cookie Grandma. Velma always kept busy and spent most of her time outdoors. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and taking care of her flowers. Velma was member of the Rosary Society, Bellevue Fireman Auxiliary, Jackson County Flower Club and Bellevue Flower Club. Those left to honor her memory include her four children, Peggy Cox, of Flagstaff, Arizona, Pat (Leonard) Clark, of Clear Lake, Iowa, Susan (Warren) Crouch, of Bellevue, and Rick (Pam) Lampe, of Monroe, Georgia; nine grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Tebbe; and sister, Madonna (Ed) Mueller. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Chris Shady; brother, Vincent Tebbe and four sisters, Erma Sturm, Bendina Petesch, Dula Hammond and Rita Kilburg.
