Velva Paules

Dateline: Clinton Velva G. Paules, 86, of Clinton, passed away, Monday, April 14th, 2008, at The Mercy Medical Center, South Campus, Bluff Terrace in Clinton. Velva was born February 14th, 1922 in Hampton, Iowa, daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel (McGlynn) Uthe. She married Curtiss J. Anderson in 1941 they later divorced. Velva married Ernest Paules in 1964 in Fulton, Il. He preceded her in death in 1979. She was a processor for Nielsen Clearing House in Clinton and also had worked at Dairy Pak. She was a Mercy Hospital Auxiliary Member and was an active Am Vets Auxiliary Member. Survivors include two daughters, Irene (Robert) Grell, Clinton, Kathleen (Ron McOwen) Bradford, Bozeman, MT; five grandchildren, Scott (Kim) Grell, Joseph Grell, Patrick Bud Grell, Paula Grell, David Kent; eight great grandchildren, Codie, Kylie, Brady, Justin, Kaitlynn, Sydney, Jacob and Jenna. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and one brother, Leo Uthe. Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, April 16th, 2008, at The Lemke Funeral Home, South Chapel.
