Vernon O. Rosenberger

Vernon O. Rosenberger, 90, of Clinton passed away Friday, February 22nd, 2008, at the Mercy Medical Center in Clinton. Vernon was born September 25th, 1917 in Clinton, son of the late Leo and E. Barbara (Maneman) Rosenberger. He was a graduate of Clinton High School. He married Lynn Suehl on April 29th, 1968, in Clinton. She survives. Vernon owned and operated Rosenberger Insurance Agency in Clinton since 1938. He was a member of the Jesus Christ Prince of Peace Parish in Clinton and was a past member of the Elks, Moose, and Clinton Country Club for over 65 years. He enjoyed golfing and his greatest joy was visiting and reminiscing with his family and friends. Besides his wife Lynn, he is survived by a sister Elizabeth Cavanaugh of Clinton and two brothers, Robert (Janet) Rosenberger of DeWitt, and Leo (Barbara) Rosenberger of California and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by parents and an infant sister Phyllis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 27th, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Prince of Peace, Clinton. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery, Clinton. Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-6 PM at The Lemke Funeral Home, North Chapel in Clinton. A Parish Vigil Service will held at 5:30 PM Tuesday at The Lemke North Chapel. The Lemke Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of the arrangements.
