Vince Liska, 66, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Big Meadows Nursing Home in Savanna, Illinois. Vince was born July 26th, 1941, in St. Louis, MO. Son of the late Jerry and Lois (Robinson) Liska. He married Debra (Edfors) Keller in 1998 in Las Vegas. She survives. Vince was a welder/pipefitter for the Union Local 430, since 1982. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling. He also had a fondness for carpentry, making various furniture items. Besides his wife Debra Keller-Liska, he is survived by two sons, David Keller, Clinton, Vince Liska Jr. of St. Louis; two daughters, Dawn Liska, Brenda Keller both of Clinton; two brothers, Jerry (Phyllis) Liska, and Wayne Liska both from Southern Illinois; one sister Donna Rose Kent, St. Louis; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son Mike Liska, granddaughter, Jamey Liska, one brother, Robert Liska. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 9th, 2008 at The Lemke Funeral Home, South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton. Burial will be in The Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 PM and again on Friday from 10 AM until the time of services all at the funeral home.
