May 24, 2007 Obituary for Virginia Garrett Virginia Mae Garrett, 86, of Bellevue, formerly of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at the Mill Valley Health Care Center in Bellevue. Virginia was born July 27th, 1920 in Gilman, Iowa, daughter of the late Archie and Nellie (Frederick) Vosburg. She Married Everette Garrett on July 20th, 1942 in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1999. Virginia was a teacher and a graduate of Cornell College. Survivors include one sister, Marguerite Stamp; one nephew; four nieces and a close friend, Darcy Mazel and her family of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Besides her parents and her husband Everette, she was preceded in death by one son Troy Garrett in 1962. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, May 26th, 2007 at the Garrett Cemetery in Delta, Iowa. The Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
